Chris has over 30 years’ professional experience of business development in the maritime industry.
After an early career in liner shipping, forwarding and broking, Chris became one of the founders of Transwide, a start-up developing web based services to the road transport sector, still going strong today. Chris then held senior management roles at an Global Container Terminal Operator before starting as an independent consultant specialising in new port concessions.
Chris has undertaken assignments for a variety of clients including global port operators, governments, port authorities, law firms, infrastructure funds, renewable energy providers & funds as well as private investors in a wide range of countries.
He provides advisory services on new port development projects, Public Private Partnerships, project due diligence, project start-ups, tendering and concession agreement negotiations to clients globally.
